8. Van Removal and Item Moving Services

Primary Service Area: My primary service area is Swindon.
Out-of-Area Bookings: For locations outside of Swindon, such as Tetbury, a minimum booking of a full day (two consecutive 3-hour sessions) is required.

Please note: I do not provide services for:
Gas work
Electrical work
Gardening or landscaping
Sloped roof work
Tip runs or waste collection
Lifting any item over 15 kg
For specialized tasks outside my scope, I recommend hiring licensed professionals.
2. Service Booking Process

4. Cancellations and Refunds

5. Liability, Insurance, and Warranty
5.1 I carry full public liability insurance.
5.2 All workmanship comes with a limited warranty (details specific to the job and discussed during consultation).
5.3 Clients are responsible for:

6. Materials and Project Supplies
Clients may provide their own materials, but if I am to purchase materials on your behalf, full payment for materials is required upfront.
I aim to recommend eco-friendly and sustainable options wherever possible.
7. Van Transport & Moving Services
7.1 Transport is available for small household items (non-hazardous only).
7.2 The first 20 miles from B&Q Swindon are free; beyond that, mileage is charged at £0.45 per mile.
7.3 Max item weight: 30 kg | Max cargo space: 1 m x 1.8 m x 3.5 m
7.4 Items must be ready at the agreed collection time; time overruns are billable.
8. Payment Terms and Conditions
Quoted jobs: Payment is due according to the invoice, with deposits required before work begins.
Hourly bookings: Payment is due on completion of the session.
Late payments: A late fee of £20 may be applied after 14 days past the due date.
Commercial accounts: Payment within 30 days (with prior agreement only).
All client data, including personal details and project information, is handled securely and used solely for service delivery purposes. I adhere to GDPR and UK data protection laws.
